This refreshing and easy-to-make cocktail is a summertime classic. It's a staple in Italy, where many spritz cocktails are enjoyed during Aperitivo Hour (aka Happy Hour).

Start by preparing your garnish. Citrus always pairs well with a spritz!

Fill your serving glass with ice before starting to build the drink.

Add the amaro liqueur. The most famous amaro used in a spritz is Aperol, but here I've used Luxardo Bitter Bianco.  You can use any amaro that you like!

Add the seltzer and then top it off with sparkling wine (preferably Prosecco).

Give it a quick stir. Then add your garnish, and serve.
