Lavender Syrup

the floral taste and aroma of lavender

ingredients

● Water ● Sugar ● Dried Lavender

Lavender Syrup is the perfect addition to your spring and summer cocktails! It's super easy to make at home, and is a wonderful sweetener for your hot tea or iced tea.

Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Stir to combine and place the saucepan over medium-high heat.

Bring the mixture to a boil, and then let it simmer for about 3 mins. Turn off the heat and add in dried lavender.

Let the mixture steep until it cools to room temperature. This should take around 30-40 minutes.

Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bottle. The syrup will keep for 2 to 3 weeks in the fridge.
