The Banana Cow is rich, satisfying and low in alcohol. Originally published in Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide, it's touted as the "world's finest" hangover cure.

Prepare your blender and add in the sugar, bitters, vanilla extract, white rum, banana and crushed ice.
Blend everything until smooth.
Pour the ingredients into your cocktail glass.
(Optional) Garnish with a banana that has been cut in half widthwise and lengthwise. Use one quarter of the banana and cut a slit in the bottom, and attach it to the rim of the glass.
Serve immediately.
Notes
If you find that the drink is separating really quickly, try adding a quarter teaspoon of xanthan gum into the blender. This should help keep everything smooth.
Make this drink non-alcoholic by omitting the rum and adding in either an ounce of water or an ounce more of milk per cocktail.
