Ingredients

oz
fresh squeezed blood orange juice
1.5
oz
ginger-infused bourbon
(see Notes)
0.5
oz
simple syrup

bar spoon
ginger juice
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
1.5 oz ginger-infused bourbon,
2 oz fresh squeezed blood orange juice,
0.5 oz simple syrup,
1 bar spoon ginger juice
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake it well, about 15-20 shakes.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. You could also strain over ice into an old fashioned glass.
Add a blood orange wheel for garnish.
Notes
If you don't have ginger-infused bourbon or whiskey, you can use plain whiskey and just increase the ginger juice amount to
¼ ounce.
