Christmas Morning Punch is a delicious treat to start off the Christmas day festivities. Keep it non-alcoholic, or add some sparkling wine and/or vodka or gin for the drinking crowd.
Cut a lime in half and cut slices from one of the halves. Use a citrus juicer to juice the other half into your pitcher.
If you are using fresh pomegranate, you can open it up and put some of the red seeds into your pitcher. Set some aside to add to the finished drink.
Add the ginger syrup to your pitcher.
Add the pomegranate, cranberry and orange juices to your pitcher.
Give the mixture a stir. Add 2-3 slices of lime to the pitcher and then top it with the sparkling apple cider.
Add ice to your serving glasses and a slice of lime to each glass as a garnish. Add some pomegranate seeds to each glass if you are using them.
Give the punch another quick stir and then pour it into your serving glasses. Serve immediately.
Notes
To make this punch with alcohol, stir in 4 to 6 ounces of the spirit of your choice along with the juice. I recommend vodka or gin for this recipe. Also, omit the sparkling apple cider and replace it with sparkling wine, Champagne or Prosecco. Use a different garnish, like a rosemary sprig, to make it easy to tell them apart from the non-alcoholic drinks.
