Stir as the liquid heats up, just until the honey is fully dissolved.
Take the syrup off of the heat and let it cool to room temperature. (If you want it to cool faster, you can put the bottom of the saucepan in an ice bath.)
Pour the syrup into a storage bottle and seal it up. You can use it right away, or keep it in the fridge for up to a month.
Notes
If you don't have a saucepan, you can heat the water in a kettle until it boils. Then mix it into the honey in a separate mug or saucepan until the honey dissolves.
