Add the caramel sauce and maple sugar each to a small dish.
Dip the glass rim into the caramel sauce. Then, dip it into the maple sugar so that the sugar sticks to the sauce.
Drizzle more caramel sauce into the inside of the glass. Set it aside while you make the drink.
Cocktail
Add the vodka, kahlua and maple syrup to a mixing glass and stir it so the maple syrup dissolves.
Add ice to your cocktail serving glass and then pour the mixture into the glass.
Carefully pour the heavy cream on top so that it makes a top layer.
Stir the drink gently so that the cream mixes in just a little bit with the bottom cocktail, and serve!
Notes
Using half and half instead of heavy cream will reduce the calories by about 60.
Depending on which caramel sauce you use, it may drip down the sides of the glass rim, so keep in mind that it might get a little messy! If you want it to be less drippy, you can refrigerate the caramel sauce, or use a thicker sauce like dulce de leche.
