Cut a fresh pineapple until you have triangular wedges with the rind still attached.
Cut out the core piece, and then cut a slit into the bottom of the pineapple where it will rest on the rim of the glass. Set it aside while you make the drink.
Cocktail
Add the lemon juice, pineapple juice, maple syrup and whiskey to a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice and seal it up.
Give it about 15-20 hard shakes.
Fill your serving glass with ice (crushed or pebble ice is best if you have it).
Strain the drink into the serving glass.
Add the pineapple wedge garnish, and serve. Cheers!
