Cut a thick slice of a lemon and use a paring knife to hollow out the center, so you are left with a circle of lemon peel.
Use a cocktail pick to pierce through the peel on one side. Then thread the pick through a cocktail cherry.
Thread the pick through the opposite side of the lemon peel. You should end up with what looks like a cherry in the center of the circle of peel. Set the garnish aside while you make the drink.
Cocktail
Add the lemon juice, passion fruit syrup, orgeat, falernum and gin to a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice and seal it up.
Shake well, about 15-20 hard shakes.
Add fresh ice to your serving glass and strain the drink into the glass.
