As a lover of anything peach, this Peach Martini is one of the most delicious cocktails to me! It's not only easy to make, but super refreshing and just makes me think I'm sipping on liquid sunshine. This drink has tons of flavor and is the perfect drink for peach lovers!

Peach season is around June or July here in the US, but this drink can be made anytime of year since it's made with bottled syrup. But, if you're thinking of making your own syrup, I recommend using the freshest and ripest peaches you can!

Looking for some more refreshing martini recipes? This Pink Lemonade Martini with Pink Whitney vodka is one of my favorites! You'll also love this lemony Limoncello Martini or the Blueberry Lemon Drop martini.

The Pear Martini is another one of my favorites, with a fall flavor twist!

What makes the Peach Martini so good

Peach is such a tasty summer flavor, and there are so many ways to add it to a cocktail! I wanted to make a super peachy sip that wouldn't taste overly boozy.

Using not only flavored vodka, but also peach schnapps liqueur and peach syrup, gives a really deep peach flavor. The lemon and vermouth balance everything out so it's not overly sweet!

    Ingredients

Here are the ingredients you'll need to make this martini:

    • Peach vodka
    • Peach schnapps
    • Peach syrup (I love Liquid Alchemist brand peach syrup)
    • Dry vermouth
    • Lemon juice

For the garnish, I used a slice of fresh peach and it looks so pretty on the rim of the glass!

If you don't have a fresh peach, try using a lemon slice or lemon peel. Or, dust the rim of the glass with sugar. You could also use a peach ring candy if you want!

    Substitutions

Don't have one of the ingredients? Try these ideas!

If you don't have peach vodka, you can just use plain vodka. Or, if you have any fresh peaches sitting around, cut them up and let them sit in the plain vodka. After at least 30 minutes, strain them out. It'll give the vodka a peachy flavor.

If you don't have peach schnapps, just leave it out and use more of both the peach syrup and the vodka.

If you don't have peach syrup, just use regular simple syrup, or you can add a little more peach schnapps.

No vermouth? Try using bitters instead. You can use Cocktail Punk peach bitters, or try out a citrusy style of bitters like Dashfire lemon bitters.

    Variations

This is a pretty simple recipe, so it definitely lends itself to variations! For a fruit combo, try muddling some fresh fruit, like raspberries, in the cocktail shaker before going on to make the drink.

You can easily make this drink into a mocktail by switching out the peach vodka for a peach seltzer, and switch out the peach schnapps for more peach syrup. Instead of vermouth, just use a non-alcoholic bitters, like Fee Brothers peach bitters.

If you want to make this drink lower in sugar, try using a sugar free syrup like DaVinci sugar free peach syrup in place of both the syrup and the schnapps.

    Equipment

A set of basic bar tools and a serving glass is pretty much all you'll need to make this drink! Make sure you have a jigger to measure the ingredients, and a cocktail shaker and strainer.

For the glass, a small martini glass is ideal (around 5 ounces/150 ml). Or, you can always serve this drink over ice in an old fashioned glass.

    Instructions

Start out by cutting your peach slice for a garnish, if you're using it. Cut a slit into the edge of the slice where you'll attach it to the rim.

Set the peach aside, and add your lemon juice to the cocktail shaker.

Then, add in your peach schnapps and dry vermouth to the cocktail shaker.

Add in the peach syrup and then the peach vodka.

Fill the rest of the shaker with ice, and then seal up the shaker. Give it about 15-20 hard shakes to chill and dilute the drink.

Hand using an ice scoop to add ice to a cocktail shaker.
Hands shaking up a cocktail shaker filled with yellow liquid.

Strain your drink into the cocktail glass. Then, attach the peach to the rim of the glass, and serve.

Hint: If you can, chill your glass for about 30 minutes before you make the drink. This'll help keep the drink colder longer!

    Top tip

This would make a great party cocktail or a drink for a girls' night! It's easy to make this in a pitcher in a big batch. Just multiply the ingredients for how many you need to make, and add about ½ ounce of water per drink instead of shaking each drink with ice.

A simple way to make eight servings is to use cups instead of ounces as the measurement. Or, just use the handy servings multiplier in the recipe below!

Store your pitcher in the fridge until it's time to serve. Cheers!
